    cleaners

You'll get a ton of responses recommending 303 (amazon) or Dawn and water.... I'm amazed at how well just vinegar and water work.

    Fenders and Thoughts

Taylor made fenders have served me well. easy to pop on and pop off and move around as needed. No drilling required. Also no regrets on my box anchor, a small one holds alot of boat. I'd also recommend saddle floats if you plan to spend any time at all just floating. These are the best...

    Any Tips for New Boat?

I've had my boat 3 years. I would suggest santa bring you at least 6 boat bumpers, a box anchor (small size might work), a bottle of 303 cleaner, ski rope, and some nice big seat floats. Have fun!!

How to Tiedown your Benny when Trailering

I trailer a lot and the back looks like bulldogs. You need to use the eyelets at the front and back of the outside toons! Other than what you have in front, I've also seen some peeps (using the front eyelets) strap to the opposite front side of trailer (making an X w/the straps). Also, check...

    Trailer Guides

Thanks everyone. I bought some guides that, once mounted, come at the toons at a 45 degree angle - missing the strakes. I bought 2 for the back of trailer. Hope i don't need more...

    Trailer Guides

Hi everyone. I trailer my 2017 Benny - obviously taking it in & out of the lake several times a weekend. I recently bought some 24 inch straight trailer guides to mount on the inside of the toons but now I'm questioning my purchase. My dilemma is this - it appears the lifting strakes on the...

Looking to purchase a new Bennington in TX, any advice on discounts?

My experience: the dealer knocks 20% off MSRP right off the bat. If you get to 25% off, if not in off season, consider it a great deal! If need a trailer, be sure and negotiate that along w/boat.

    Benntex protection

Nah...no protectant needed. Water gets most dirt and stains off; soap and water if not. you'll love the Bentex material - it looks and feels great!

    Silicone Lubricant

So I see that Yamaha recommends spraying down the entire engine with Yamalube (or similar silicone lubricant) to keep it from rusting. Says to spray "everywhere but the O2 sensors. Anyone ever done this, & anyone know where the O2 sensors are?

    Newbie To Dos

Getting a new R series soon...can't wait.  I'm trailering the boat all summer; I've got the factory Sharkhide on the 'toons and obviously have the new seat vinyl.  My question: w/a brand new boat should I do anything w/it immediately to protect the seats, flooring, etc?  Should i have any boat...
