EZ Fender is the only way to go on the blackout package. Here is a pic of my boat with one just to the right of my cup holder. Look nice easy to use. I did add a third on to each side on my R23. Picture is above for your viewing.

Yes it will fit. Never used the bow gate seat when I had the boat sold boat to my son and he has used it in both the bow and the port side of the boat.
