OK, now I am wiring a ton of "fun stuff" and am finishing up the LED Cup Holders. I put two at the helm, one on a corner recliner, and two on the fishing table. Got the table open and was ready to connect the 12v lines and stopped. Thought to myself, 12v in the gas tank location? 12v spark equals boom? I freaked myself out.

I see a line for the fuel level sending unit so isn't a 12v voltage already there? Can i add 12v to that cavity then? I will be sending 12v from a source under the helm that is switched on/off at the helm. any issue switch this or should I be NOT adding any 12v "stuff" to any spot in the fuel tank location?

The fuel sender works on a ground, not 12v. If you're doing your connections with water proof heat shrink, then I wouldn't worry about it.
