Hi all, new to the Bennington tritoon, I have a 175vsho on the back of a msb 22 tritoon! On light load I can get up to 48mph heavy load around 41! She burns a lot of gas and it only came with a 30gal tank! Is this normal or should I try and change the pitch?

48 is better than I get with a 250 Verado on a 23 ft. I can get 45 -46
If you are interested ,check with Ken at propgods.com.
And yes they burn some gas. At WOT, I burn 28 gallons per hour in regular mode 22 in sport.
Needless to say I don't run WOT often, about 10 minutes once I hit the lake after leaving the river .

That sounds like some great performance. What are your RPM’s at WOT. At higher speeds you are gun burn through gas - fast! I have a 200 HP Mercury Verado Pro on and SPS tritoon. As such, I have a 32 gallon tank. I can suck that dry in no time flat if going heavy on the throttle. Sadly, normal.

My cruising speed, I usually run about 25-35mph at 3500-3800rpm and still burn about 15gal per hour. Just trying to see if burning this much fuel is normal? I’ve had bay boats all my life and don’t burn near this amount of gas.
