I am looking at purchasing a 2002 Bennington 2575FS tritoon with a two stroke Yamaha 200 BHP engine. The engine has few hours. The steering is not uniformly smooth throughout the rotations. Particularly, I noticed that on the stern port side, the decking seemed squishy, but not wet. The material was partly light and brown and seemed to be cork, or some similar material and not plywood. I have tried to find out if Bennington used cork as a material in building their decks, but can only find information that suggests that cork is not used. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You can Check with Bennington, their phone number is 888 906 2628.
