I bought my 2019 Bennigton R23 switch back used and I want to know if the speakers facing the rear, are supposed to light up. My other 4 speakers light up, but not those 2. Anyone have any pics? I want to know if I should bring my boat in for warranty repair of those speakers or am I wasting my time.
There are a couple different rear speaker configuration on the Swingback layout (typically either the fiberglass looking rear speaker area or the Chrome Bennington rear speaker area).
Some have RGB lighting, some do not, depending on how it was optioned up. It would have been separate from your other lit cup holders and potentially the interior speakers. If you don’t have that original paperwork, you can contact Bennington with your Hull # and they should be able to get you the spec sheet for it. That should have it listed.
For instance, we optioned up to have the rear chrome Bennington with RGB lighting on our Swingback. Although we are rarely out in the evening, it is cool looking. But again, a picture doesn’t really do any good as it is an option. Just depending on each individual swingback models order specs.

If the other four light up, those two probably should too. Sounds like they might be dead or not wired right. Worth having the dealer check them under warranty before it expires.
