2024 College Football Thread

Does anyone have any advice on how to clean poop off of a flat screen TV?

What an embarrassment of a season.
Use a match!

Can't wait to get a new shirt to include the 2024 win. What a crazy game that was. Unbelievable.

In all seriousness, it was a embarrassment on both sides for what happened after the game. I remember when Baker Mayfield did this in 2017 against OSU. And while I get rivalry week ( I played college ball at Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan was our 99 mile rivalry to the south east of us), we would never think of doing this kind of crap. We played for the Miner cup (go figure, copper country in the UP of Michigan), but you shook hands and said nice game and we'll see you next year. My only beef with Ryan Day is he sat on the sidelines watching this happen vs somebody like Sherron Moore who was trying to get control of his players

As I have always said, D1 football players play for the fame, D2 players play for the love of the game :)

Sad, years ago after a similar melee between Clemson and South Carolina, both universities agreed to forgo the rest of their seasons.

Would expect way too money is involved for that to happen this time, but strange things did happen yesterday... Well, that and there were at least three post-game scuffles. Any real disciplinary action would seriously screwup bowl games.

The players have received the memo that they are untouchable.

I think that if just once, they (stadium police/officials) would make no effort in breaking things up and let them duke it out it would be the last one for awhile at least.

That was an exciting finish to the B1G season: Penn State put up a heck of a fight against Oregon - I was expecting the Ducks to waddle up and down the field against the Nittany Lions, but the Lions kept the score much closer than I had anticipated.

Agree good game!

Daril, you watching this?
Yup watched it! I hate to watch a bowl game where All of the players that played throughout the year don't play in the game! Although that 3rd string QB did pretty good!

They need to keep portal CLOSED until season is completed.
And cap NIL compensation. I would propose 50% of NFL league minimum should be the most a player can receive. (aside from endorsement deals)
We need to Make College Football Great Again!

100% agree - a portal limitation and an NIL cap would even the field amongst way more schools than just the handful of elite schools that can afford the big NIL numbers.

I enjoyed seeing Penn St & Ohio St dominate! Looking to see the Big Ten roll!!!

With Skippy on the Clemson loss… I mean the Texas win. ;) Was bummed about the IU debacle in South Bend, but oh well. Picking IU was a stretch anyway. I went with my heart on that one as I just CAN NOT cheer on ND, unlike my wife.

I’ll take 3 of 4 in my first round bracket! However, my wife is perfect so far in her picks. ND bitting me in the butt once again Dang Fighting Irish! :D
