I tried a forum search on this but "QX" is too short.

Any members here have the new 2026 QX model? If so curious on the gas cap.

The Bennington website says that the new QX redesign has an “Integrated Automotive-Style Fuel Door” over the gas cap – but every picture I see online where it shows the port side of a 2026 QX, it shows an exposed gas cap?

We have a 2026 25QFBWA in production that I hope will ship in the next week or two. Ordered it the end of January. We did the Merc 425 also. I was hoping this forum would be more active. In one pr photo, it looks like it's exposed on the Q's but on others I don't see it.

On FB, a guy posted this. "I just picked up my new QX on Saturday and it has a 120 gallon tank in the center. Gas fill is now on the starboard side. Twin Yamaha 350’s still burn a lot of gas but range is so much better."

AZ - Did you mean to write you have a 25"QX"FBWA on order, or a "Q"? I think only the QX claims to have the fuel door.

I ordered mine on Feb 13 and (allegedly) it's being built this week so hoping to get it soon too.

Whether it's the QXs with the larger 10' wide beams / 116 gallon tanks or the 8.5' beam QXs with the 73 gallon tank, I swear every single picture shows a gas cap (not always on port side - sometimes on starboard side)...

We loved the QX's but did the Q w/std 8.5 beam, cladded arch and ton of upgrades. No sea legs, we're on Roosevelt Lake in AZ.

I noticed the same, some pics of the Q's show what looks like an exposed cap on the port side and others it's not there. I need to bug my rep anyway. We were supposed to get pics this week from our build but nada so far.

We did the ESP+ pkg with the 73 gallon tank, will be interesting to see what our GPH burn rate is!.... and yes honey, we do need that big V10 :) This FB group is pretty active so you might check that out for resources. Bennington Q and R Series Pontoon Owners

BTW, congrats on your purchase!

Thanks and congrats on your purchase too!

We also went with 8.5' beam / ESP+ / 73 gallon too and can't wait to get it. And yeah, I'm def not going to be getting great GPH with the extra 650 lbs from the sea legs :oops:

And yeah every single picture I've seen (at least ones where it shows both sides of the boat) has an exposed cap on one side or the other.
