2027 22' Swingback with Co-Captain chair. Does the bolster chair fit in front of co-captain chair and still be able to open garbage? Aft gate?

2027 22' Swingback with Co-Captain chair. Does the bolster chair fit in front of co-captain chair and still be able to open garbage? Does it also fit by the aft gate? Or behind the Captains Chair?

The Bolster is a feature built into the chair, making the seat taller - I love it on the Captain's Chair for steering in/around docks. The Bolster chair replaced the standard chair, it might be a half inch 'longer" at most, so no - it would not interfere. It is not particularly comfy in the up position, but for the short intended purpose, no issue and when down - I don't notice any difference vs the CoCaptain Chair (which does not have a bolster on my Benny - would not sell it to me in California - coast guard rules).

Hi, sorry I didn't mean bolster chair - I was really asking about the extra chair you can purchase. I know that you can place them in the front bow, but does it also fit along the back gate to create a longer couch along the swingback? Also can it be placed in front of co-captain chair for foot rest and/or an extra seat? Do they fit in all areas? Another question I had was that it says that it is attached by velcro? Does that mean you need velcro on the side of the existing seats?

It’s called a “bow filler seat”. I don’t believe it will fit in those other areas with your layout (dual captains chairs) and being 22’.

My old bow filler seat would fit in front of the co captain chair (22 GSR) (while blocking the gate) but it was not easy to move around. Plus, it would slide on floor when placed in front of the cocaptain chair and while in the bow, it was difficult to open the storage compartments on each side. I loved the concept, especially for large groups, but we just didn’t use it enough to deal with the inconveniences, especially moving it.
