20SL - Hard to Steer

I just bought a 2019 20SL with a Yamaha 90 and find it VERY hard to steer. Speed does not matter ... it is hard in the dock too. There is no hydraulic assist. I have had 10+ boats, and this is just not right.
Ideas?

If you just bought the boat, I would call your dealer. Maybe the cable has too tight of a bend in it somewhere. Follow the cable from the motor to the helm. Didn't you drive it before you bought it. I have power assist so that's the best idea I have.
