Can anyone help me with the length of the boat (24' 6") but I am struggling to know how far out the outboard sits. Looking to get a canopy for a hoist and hoping someone can assist with this knowledge.
 
I have a 2275RCW with a Verado. My canopy is 30' x 120" and works well,  though I think 28' really would have been plenty.
 
Thanks Tom, I was thinking 26' was too small, given just the boat is 24.5" then with motor figured I would need 28 if not more.....
 
26' would be very short if you want max protection from the sun.

I also use an engine cover even though it's well beneath the canopy as shown here:

 
From the picture looks like 28-30 is the size to go. Nice dock, what kind is it and how do you like it?

It's Hewitt Roll-A-Dock, very nice and stable, all aluminum with poly wheels. If I did it again, or was in your neck of the woods, I'd probably choose a dock from Scott Feighner in Charlotte MI near Lansing.
