Really love the boat.   A few questions.   Where do all of you store lifejackets?  Wallets, etc?   I am thinking of adding some storage compartments for personal items.

Getting ready to take another family out, but very happy we chose bennington!

I'd be wiredup too. Very nice vessel you have there. Is that a custom table? More pictures and info, please!

Yeah, we went with an RSB layout vs the QSB so that we get more seating room up front.  The wife wanted a bigger table than just the small removeable one that comes with the layout.  So, we had them customize the layout with the table, 4 seats around it, custom colors, etc.  Really happy with how it turned out.  We added a second table, that pops out, for the bow area, you can see it upside down on the dock.   They weren't sure they could add the new hybrid top to the design, but ended up able to do it, which I really like.

Right now life jackets are split port and starboard bow seats.

I want to figure out some organization for thinks like dock lines and anchor so they aren't just thrown in a space.

Then something to keep some socks, sweatshirts and blankets dry, as my wife gets cold on the evening cruises.

Back on topic, nice looking boat.

Oh wow, even nicer than I imagined and pushed around by a 300 to boot. I'd be living on that! Enjoy...

That's the issue, these boats support 16 people, that's 16 life jackets, haha.

Gorgeous Boat.  Congrats!

We store all of the life jackets inside the cottage and then load up the front seat compartments with the jackets once we know how many are going out...plus one throwable.  We are afraid of any mold that might grow during the week.  We use them often between tubing and floating, so once they are wet, we loop them over the ski pylon thru an arm hole.

Michigan law won't allow us to buy the "bag-o-vests" and leave them contained under the seats, although that would be convenient for general slow cruises.

We used to have a flip down compartment under the steering wheel that I could store my wallet, multi tool, etc.. Not sure if the new boats have that.

hope that helps, again, Congrats

I bought one of those plastic stackable-drawer units that I put under the console.  2 drawers fits perfectly - it's about 12 X 16 inches, and holds can coozies, sunglasses, flashlights, maps, a few small tools, wallet, etc. - all the small stuff that I want to carry around but would end up getting lost rolling around under a seat.  Really works great for me!

Pics?

Good looking boat... I keep my wallet and keys n stuff in the door that opens on the helm, has a small compartment on the inside of the door.  I put the cover and poles in the main compartment and keys/wallet/cell phone in the little container on the door.  I also have a little flip out right below the steering wheel that I keep my registration/insurance/multi tool/knife.  Life vests/anchor are under starboard bow lounger/bench, towels/ect. are under port side seats, when underway bumpers go under rear starboard lounger where the changing room folds into.  I also have the cooler in the front bow corner seat and the table that has a cooler in it as well for food/drinks

Glad you made your Florida to Virginia trip safe (how was it?)

Your build is so nice and unique, enjoy.

Wheww, that was a heck of a trip up the coast, we got to experience a little of everything, electrical issues (still ongoing, but found a way to bypass) causing the port engine to randomly shut down, lightning storms, 40 knot winds, extreme low tide (3 ft deep) in the ditch in Ga, then beautiful weather for the last day.

Allowed me to really appreciate slowing things down on the pontoon boat this past weekend.

You get your boat?   Anxious to see the photos.

Good info, there is no "glove compartment" below the wheel in the new boats I guess.  I have all my paperwork in the storage pocket in the door right now, but could move that for wallets I guess.   I have separate seat covers for all areas that I remove and put below each designated seat it goes on for now as well, which is great, but takes up room.   Have a few ideas to add some storage.  Thanks

My launch day was so crappy, it actually sleeted when I was putting the playpen cover on.  I didn't get many images I would be proud to share.  We literally listened to the dealer try to explain some things, signed his papers and moorned it.

One question for you, did you notice a noise from the steering column when you spin the wheel in either direction?  Mine is a whine/squeal, not sure if normal.

Many folks with the power assist steering mention hearing a whine. Is your pump under the helm or under the seat just forward of the helm?

Yes, it is the whine from the power steering.  That's normal.  My father has twin 300's on his center console and his are twice as loud.

By the way, boat looks great!  Hopefully, you get some better weather soon to be able to enjoy.

The noise is spot on for the steering pump. Some seem noisier than others due to the location of the pump on the boat. I'd worry about the weather instead. East coast weather just hasn't given much of a break for boating./monthly_2016_05/large.573a5fb79d061_IMG_0571122035.JPG.74d01fca2a868c74d86988009cecfb35.JPG/monthly_2016_05/large.573a5fc13ba49_IMG_0572122036.JPG.249d5cbe21c888b799ed7885c7595209.JPG
