I have a 2017 23RCW with a single bimini top. I'd like to add the 2nd bimini to get some shade up front. Has anyone done this? Can I just order the second binimi from Benny or the dealer and self install? My pontoon is not in front of me now...but I recall the single bimini bolting to rail structure....

The dealer is most likely the only place to order one that will fit . But it's possible that greatlakesskipper.com "might" have it, they carry some Bennington OEM parts. Others here have added the front, I'm sure some of them will respond.

Sandkey when buying our boat it came with the single bimini but we wanted a double. We ordered the frame for the front Bimini and the dealer installed it. The factory also sent the fabric. The tricky part was the front Bimini fabric had to "marry" the rear Bimini fabric for a clean install. The dealer sent our boat to a local canvas shop to have a heavy duty zipper installed to join both parts when deployed!

When we purchased our '14 25RCL back about 5+ years ago, it came with double biminis. I really didn't know the value of TWO of those until we did our first lake runs and it was 100 degrees! Man, having that much shade is PRICELESS! I almost wish the front was another 3' longer and the back was 2' longer but, they'll do just fine. They don't really take all that much to set up, even from the travel position. They ("They being the bimini gods) say that you shouldn't travel over 15 mph with those two up as you see them. Yeah sure. I've ran 45 quite a few times and I've observed them and yes, they're a bit tight at that speed but don't appear to be straining the framing system. Most of our long runs at speed are primarily around 30 mph anyways. It will do 50 but I have no need to push it like that. Anyway, here's the two zipped together.
