Adding cleats

I currently have a q series 2552. Has anyone felt the need to add mid cleats instead of the round eye look that's midship.  Many thanks

I think they use the round eye instead of a horned cleat at the midship position due to the fencing being right at the edge of the boat. Cleats have to be through-bolted and backed with a metal plate. And unless you mount it sideways on the edge of the boat, there's really no place to put it that I can see. The round eye kinda' takes care of that issue.
