I'm going to replace the damaged aluminum prop on my 2010 24 SLi with Yamaha 150.

I don't have a trailer, and the prop is not marked. So I need help making sure I buy the right thing, as I have one shot at this.

Local Bennington dealer says they put aluminum 15.25 x 15 props on new 23 and 24 foot Bennington's with 150 motors. Does this sound reasonable?

Looking for all around performance, not specifically top speed or hole shot.

Just out of curiosity, why stick with aluminum when 150+ HP motors really start to benefit from SS?

Anyway, here are the recommended aluminum props from the Yamaha prop selector:

The 15.25 x 15 would probably be the ideal choice.

I had a 15 X 15 on my 150 .

If you don't see any # on the barrel of the prop, then they are on the front. Must remove prop if it's a factory yamaha prop. You can also look down inside the prop and you will see a # on one of the supports. If it's a 15 you will see a 15.

New prop today. Open box, and there is a ding on it. Back to store on Monday!

Ah, dang...that's perturbing.
Hope that the turnaround time for a solid one is quick.
