America’s 250th anniversary celebration

Looking forward to celebrating America’s 250th anniversary on the 4th of July this Saturday. I remember celebrating the 200th at a family reunion in PA back in 76. Some of my best childhood memories. The Webster Lake Association has organized a boat parade around the lake for Saturday morning. The whole family will decorate the Bennington and my daughter is making up 250th celebration family t-shirts for everyone on the boat. I am posting a before picture of the boat. More to come. How are you celebrating the 4th? Hopefully with your Bennington.

I also remember 200 very well, unfortunately I was with people I haven't seen or spoke to in 45 years . Long story , lol .

Yup I remember the Bicentennial back in 1976! I was a high school junior living in Maryland right outside of Washington DC! We all went to the National Mall for the concert and of course the fireworks show! Johnny Cash performed as well as the Mormon Tabernacle choir! Damn that was a loooooong time ago!!! Happy 4th !!!
