First time Benny owners, and have been out several times. At our 20hr break in and ready to "feel" the motor finally! Looking for some recommendations on places to go locally?

Hi Stacey, we like using the Maximo boat ramp (if you are trailering) and stopping at Egmont or the sand bar just off the north end of Fort Desoto. If you want to see dolphins ride the channel between Tierra Verde and 275 and over towards Fort Desoto. We see a handful of dolphins there almost every time. EG Simmons also has a nice boat ramp. I try to avoid the fixed height docks to not damage the pontoons.

We just took delivery of our 2020 Bennington R25. Our first Benny, but 3rd pontoon. We live in Clearwater Beach. Mostly hang out in Intracoastal and some gulf, but with this one, we certainly venture to other areas.

Time to remind folks about your member location map Link!

I seem to remember that thread ending a while back - maybe it was due to them wanting to charge a fee to keep it going??

New port Richey, Tarpon springs area. In the process of trading old bennington up for new bennington. If boat is ready by Friday we plan on being at sand bar north of anclote on Saturday after 2 hour break in cruise on river and around Durney....

ft. Myers Beach.
We anchor at Lovers Key, Dog Beach, Lani Kai. Bowditch point.

we're in st. pete, north end of the BC bay just down from john's pass. boat arrives next week! can't wait.

tom, where do you get your maintenance done? we live near bay pines and didn't buy a trailer coz we have a lift -- so ideally looking for recommendations on a nearby water-accessible marina with good service that we can get to. we're near thunder marine, lighthouse, mad beach -- but i don't know anything about any of them. if you have a recommendation would be glad to follow it!

Revising an old thread.... Landlocked on the Hillsborough River, north of the dam....The boat has become an extension of our house and allows us to share the river with friends and family.
