Anyone here from Texas?

Stay away from far north Texas, basically anything north of Dallas. Real estate values are skyrocketing as is the population. Personally I am considering moving east or west, or even north to Oklahoma, just to get away from the rapid sprawl, traffic, and California attitudes.
