Not only are we new Bennington owners, we are first-time boat owners just trying to learn the ropes. We have used advice found here to remove stains on our simtex (Dawn & toothbrush) successfully, but now have a dilemma. We kept our boat at our dock covered overnight. There was a life jacket sitting on the seat under the cover. Now there is a weird light spot on the seat. Any advice?

It should vanish once the sun dry's it out

I had a problem with a life jacket with a decal the melted into the fabric while the pontoon was covered in hot sun. Hopefully this help others avoid my situation.

Yes, this is great advice. I've also seen where a grocery bag sitting on the seat melted/sun baked the logo onto the seat. My rule of thumb is, just not to leave anything laying on the seats.

I use a towel on my seat with a wet swimsuit, just incase it may bleed .
