Welcome to the family, Don! Feel free to post some pictures of your new Benny.Just got a 2025 M series and want to maintain batteries when stored. Do I need to disconnect them or charge with battery switch off.
Thanks
i use 4 of these. 1 on the each of the boat batteries, and 1 on the generator that powers my lift. I typically don't get enough engine time to charge the boat batteries. (I live right by the sandbars) The generator is a tempory fix untill the dock power is repaired from last years storms. The generator also does not run long enough to make up for the start drain. The 4th one charges a battery for a storage unit lighting. Never any issues with any of them.any recommendations on chargers/maintainers that run off a small solar bank?

I got a very similar set up off Amazon last fall for this upcoming season. I have yet to use it. For me, I wanted something that could provide an “assist” for the house battery that the Sea Legs are connected to during times of extended none use. I am hoping having my similar solar panel kit available will be a nice benefit.i use 4 of these. 1 on the each of the boat batteries, and 1 on the generator that powers my lift. I pull my batteries and put them on a trickle charger for the winter. Takes 15-20 minutes to reconnect and you have fully charged batteries when you take your boat out of dry storage.Just got a 2025 M series and want to maintain batteries when stored. i do the same actually.... for me its the time between uses that i need to stay topped up. i have middle toon storage and a bilge pump that can drain things when i get a lot of rain, and/or don't get out on the water frequently enough...I pull my batteries and put them on a trickle charger for the winter. Solar trickle charger will do the job. Check Harbor Freight.
