I had a small issue when I went to pick up my boat. I ordered the filler cushion and it came in with the wrong color piping. The dealer contacted Bennington to have a replacement cushion sent out. I wanted to check to see how the customer service was at Bennington so I called myself to check what the progress was. Bennington was on it already and is sending me a new cushion on the next boat delivery to my dealer which is this week. I have to say that I am really pleased how my dealer and the manufacturer took care of this in a speedy manner. I have only positive remarks with my new boat and it's kudos to Bennington.

Had a few issues with our upon delivery. Dealer and Bennington both took care of it!  I have only purchased one other new boat and this experience has far surpassed the first! Thank you Bennington and Rivett's Marine! :)

Great news about the customer service! However, I hope I never have to make that call...

Their customer service is top notch. My experiences have made me a customer for life.

I have been Very Impressed with the service when I have needed it .

A Good dealer helps too

Yes, Bennington is an awesome company, but I agree that their dealer network is just as or even more important. My dealer rocks !!

For anyone reading this thread..... please do NOT assume that customer service at Bennington is your first go-to. It is NOT!

Always, your first point of contact is your selling dealer. Next is another Bennington dealer. The final contact is the factory customer service crew.

Why? It is a privilege to be a Bennington dealer and not something to take for granted.

Always, it is best to have your dealer engaged, because it is only in rare situations that the factory is the one to solve an issue. That is why they have dealers. Dealers invest a lot of cabbage to be the front line problem solvers.

So, the moral of this story is always..... yes, ALWAYS start at your dealer, regardless of how small or large your issue might be.

THAT is protocol.

Happy boating.

Agree. Same thing as a car.

Yikes! I'd sell it... :(

I don't really want to sell it. We love the boat and it gets lots of compliments. I just want it fixed right and I don't want to wait till it's convenient for them. Besides try selling a new Benny with a welded toon and no-working led lights along with other items mentioned. I am in no way trying to bash Bennington. This is just my experience.

I totally get it. Personally, I'd be mad as hell and frustrated. Hang in there...

Continue to call until you get someone. Not sure of the distance but I'd go in. From your recent dealings do you have the territory rep for the dealership? Sounds like I need open a dealership in AZ...

Please do that.  My dealership isn't much better as I'm still trying to get issues resolved since delivery in October.  Overall, they've been pretty good but there's certainly lots of room for improvement.
