Bennington Removable Flag Pole

For folks who've purchased their Bennington with the OEM removable flag pole on models in the past few years - can you please share the size of the flag? Is the flag 24' x 36"?

Or if anyone knows the length of the OEM stern mounted flag pole that would be really helpful too?

Already tried searching online and calling Bennington but no responses from them yet.

This is Benningtons busy season with the boat shows.
If I am not mistaken this is a dealer installed option . Have you asked your dealer?

2nd question: For folks with the OEM removable flag pole -- it's usually mounted back corner port side, but some (like Chris Z) mount it close to the engine. I'm leaning towards close to the engine but open to the feedback of others

I wouldn't mount it where the flag could "whip" your engine

Yes. My last two Benningtons that is where the dealer put mine.

I was concerned about using the tiny bit of rear deck space I have with something that could be a trip hazard with the littles (or biggies, LOL). Lilliepad makes a removable post with its Ghost Mount system I have been looking at.

I ordered the OEM flag kit through Bennington. I put mine along the outside radius near back of boat away from the engine for the same reason Scott1 mentioned about hitting the engine.

I didn't put the flag mount near my rear cleat because I use the back platform to put the boat cover on and preferred the flag extending off the boat vs being in my way when messing with the cover. Didn't feel like taking the flag off each time I needed to cover the back of the boat.
