Here's a link to the source of my info on the gauges and firmware. One source suggested that it is not possible to upgrade the ICON PRO firmware in the field.

I wish my dealer rigged a ton of Evinrudes !! His marina looks like a sea of Yamaha. The closest Evinrude dealer is 50 plus miles away. Still not a deal breaker for me.
So in the next few weeks I'll be ordering the Bennington rigged with a Etec G2 200hp HO !! Evinrude is offering a 7 year warranty (3 yrs plus 4 yrs extended) on purchases before Nov 30. Not as good as last year when they were offering 10 years !
