I'm thinking I wouldn't need to worry about having enough traction on the boat ramp if I had this for a tow vehicle... (OTC trade show)

With that said, if you tow, what's your tow vehicle? What do you like or dislike about it?

I'm running a 2017 Silverado. 5.3L Z71. It towed our boat 1,300 miles when we moved with no problems.

Likes: Styling and power
Dislikes: Just like the 2014 I had it can have a hard 1,2 shift.

2017 Ram 2500 w/6.7 diesel
It just replaced my 08 megacab 3500. Haven’t had the boat behind it for more than a couple miles to the storage lot.
Like: diesel, ventilated seats, air ride.
Dislikes: I miss my megacab this one is just a crew cab. I’m not allowed to turn it up till I’m out of warranty.

2014 F_150 with ecoboost, haven't seen anything that I can't tow with it, only dislike is it is getting old too fast like me.

I'm holding on to my 03's as long as possible, 2wd Tahoe, 4wd Sierra. I'll use the Tahoe locally and the Sierra for trips to Cumberland, Norris Etc. We also camp and boat here in Ohio and I need two tow rigs for that. All the new stuff is bad ass but man, just paid off Mommas Pilot and man that's a good place to be. I'll drive mine till the wheels fall off, put them back on, then drive them til they fall off again. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 5.3 for the Tahoe, mild cam, shorty headers, tune. It is my daily with 205K, it's getting noisy, so its time for a little more fun.20180503_201110.jpg

I tow with my Jeep Grand Cherokee, however it only tows the boat twice a year and then I only tow it 1/2 mile to storage

Have the 2014 version and also have the hard shift now and then. The 6L80 transmission is durable transmission but man that clunk that GM can't seem to fix is annoying. Love it other than that.

My tow vehicle for the new Bennington is a phone call to the dealer to come put it in the water and another to take it out!!!

This is my main tow vehicle. What do I like about it? Everything! It's a Ford and it's a beast. Complete with the turbocharged 7.3, and it's SuperChipped to bring out even more energy. Full gauge pod to keep up with the tranny and exhaust temps.

I'm doing the same thing. If you have something that is paid for and working great, it doesn't make sense to get rid of it just to have the latest fashion statement. I drive a 2000 F-250 and the 2000 Jeep Wrangler in the pictures above, and then we have the 2015 Jeep Grande Cherokee Overland Edition, that we use for general traveling without the boat.

Have a new to me 2015 Expedition EL with v6 eco boost. Love the truck but it is not as stable as the old Suburban. I think the independent rear suspension allows the boat to "pull" the truck more. Has great towing power and gets better mileage than the old 6.0. Love the seats.

2006 GMC Sierra 4x4 Crew Cab SLT Diesel with the Allison 6 speed, 6 inch lift, 35's, air bags. Truck could tow a tank. It pulls the Benny like nothing.

2017 Explorer Sport with twin turbo eco boost. Just need a trailer.

I would think that Explorer is strong enough that you wouldn't really need a trailer
