Hi all, I had already posted a little about my purchase in the Welcome section but thought I would make a thread for it.

After looking it over a couple of times I picked up my 2015 24 foot SSRX on Saturday before Christmas! It had been sitting on the showroom floor for a year. It has the Yamaha 150, hydraulic steering, power assist steering, full length sea grass floor, ski tow bar, and the SPS package.

The boat and motor listed for just over $51,000. I got it with the tandem axle galvanized Wesco trailer, tax and fee for $40,000 out the door. I don't think I did too bad, but am already wishing that it had the in floor storage as I am trying to figure out where everything is going to be stored.

We have already taken it out twice and have about 6 hours on it. The weather has been warm here in SC, but the rain is getting old.

Really glad to join the Bennington family and I have been enjoying reading all the posts.

Nice. Welcome.

Very nice!!!

Very nice! And yes,the rain is getting old. The lake is in my yard again.

Nice setup Lt Dan.  By the end of my first year I realized that I was carrying stuff that I never used.  I got rid of that stuff and even without in-floor storage and carrying 132 life jacjets at all times I still have some empty spaces under the seats

Nice boat... Welcome to the club.

We had considered the in floor storage option but the majority of the time it's just us 2 out on the lake and extra storage isn't a real problem.  On the occasion that we have a few guests on board there isn't a shortage of storage even without the floor option.  Like Link we too seem to have a complete store full of life jackets and other stuff on our boat.  We found out just how much stuff we had accumulated over the last 2 years when we had to clean the boat out completely before sending the boat back for some warranty work......was 2 loads in the wife's suv to get it all back home and a 3rd trip just for the bow filler seat.  Funny how I don't remember hauling all that down to the boat over the years.

Looks like a nice boat! Wrong color though! :p

Congrats and welcome

Congratulations! Where do you boat in South Carolina?!?

Congratulations! Where do you boat in South Carolina?!?
Usually at Lake Greenwood. My sister lives there and we hang out at one of the sandbars with the same group of people.

It is gonna be a great summer!
