Feels like the questions and learning may never stop. First Bennington and first toon in 30 years. We have a manual double bimini and as it has started to already hit mid 90’s down here, my attention has turned to the bimini. We completely removed the front when we first got the boat because I felt like it was just in the way. Just recently learned of the radar position and moved the rear to that position.

I am curious how most of you with doubles keep your bimini’s while boating and not using and what % of the time do you use both Bimini tops vs just one?

My double bimini goes up at the start of the season, and never comes down. 99% of all the pontoons in my Marina do the same (110 degree days are typical). We get some really nasty monsoons and howling winds - never an issue. I do have the Cable Stays - a must have when zipping up and down the lake at 40+ mph.

I'm with Lawrence. Double bimini is always up!!!
