You can purchase a 2nd Bimini on the Internet at a reasonable price. Finding one that connects with your current top, matches the color and frame is tough. And then the cover needs to be cut and modified. I obtained a quote from a Bennington dealer a few years ago, and it exceeded $5k without the cover modification which surprised me.
On the other hand, you can obtain extensions that are only used when non-moving for less money, and they don’t require your cover to be modified.

I'm just a tad confused. In one thread you state you'd like a HARD TOP BIMINI (which for the most part, I have NEVER seen) and in this thread, you want an extension to your existing bimini.

I understand your confusion, Scott. Either would work fine. As an afterthought I remember seeing a one-piece hardtop which realistically would be ideal, next preference would be a one-piece full length canvas (Bimini) cover followed by an extension. Thanks for the follow-up. Mike

Ive seen those hard tops ,but they were on 40 year old toons . Any thing newer was a double decker.
Jack, maybe the one or two (might have been the same one) I saw on the water may have been an old one. I had a double decker (30' SunTracker Party Cruiser) but even that didn't cover the lower deck completely. I guess I'll just have to keep looking and learning. Thanks for your input, Jack.

There are few newer double deckers I've seen in my area that covered the entire lower deck .
Bennington produced a double deck in 2022 . Not sure about other years.

Bennington is still showing a double deck on their build site ,but it doesn't cover the entire lower deck.
