Over the winter, a tree branch fell on my boat and bent the bimini frame. The 2 long main square tube frame components are broken and bent but the rest is quite salvageable. Was quoted from the dealership,$1600 (Canadian) for a whole new frame plus at least $150 shipping. Is there not a lower cost alternative? Could just those 2 main frame parts be ordered separately or manufactured more locally? I find it frustrating at times that I can't contact Bennington directly. Always have to go through the dealership, which can be slow in responding.

Your insurance should not go up for damage caused buy a falling tree .
If you dont have insurance or not that type of coverage ,try aftermarket .
I know there are some dont insure during the off season .

Try looking at ebay. There's several sellers that are selling under Bennington Bimini Tops. Good luck on the search.
