Good morning everyone. I just picked up our new Benny last Friday and I noticed on Sunday that I have 2 wear spots on the top right where it touches the frame. It has worn 2 holes through the top. This is a brand new 2019 boat.

Is this something covered under the normal warranty? I didn't notice it when I took delivery. I will be calling the dealer today...just wondering if I need to prepare for a fight!!

It should be covered under warranty and you shouldn't have any fight. Definitely the first step is to contact the dealer.

Should be warranty, and DON’T loop your puddle strap over the bimini, loop it over light bracket. We wore a hole in our Bimini cover from the strap.

OK so I called the dealer where I bought the boat. He started to put the blame on me then realized that it wasn't my doing that damaged the cover. He since took a cover off another boat on the lot and we swapped them out!! Kudos to the owner at that dealer!! It was a very smooth and easy fix! The picture shows what looks like rust...I think they hit the steel canopy frame at the dealer at some point before I bought it.
