Birthday Gift Help Please!

Indian Lake, OH is where the boat resides.
We have a 23 yr old daughter that wants to get her mom a boat related birthday (today) gift.  She has asked me for some help in deciding and I don't have a freaking clue.  We have all of the normal stuff already.  Does anyone have ideas?  I know it's a bit unusual and taking into consideration that you don't know us, I would appreciate any suggestions that you or your spouse might have.  Trying to be somewhat cost friendly but anything will do.  She is coming up to Lake Norman to meet us for a weekend of boating, the wife and I will be there all week, and would like to bring the gift with her.  I have been given notice that I have until Tuesday to provide ideas, lol. 


Let's hear them please.

My wife has a throw on the boat that she uses if we get caught in a rain or storm cell. It's water resistant on one side and fleece on the other. In fact, she just used it this weekend when we got caught in a summer storm up the river.

Wow that's a hard one, "boat" related, but my bathroom decor is "nautical/ocean related". Mermaids, seahorses, shells, etc ....


Is it "for on the boat" or to remind her of "boating"?


Thats what mine is, more to remind me of the water, not necessarily the "boat". I actually got a seahorse tattoo, so every time I look at my arm, I think of the ocean..... :)

Good question.  I think her intent was for something that could be used on the boat. 
 
Where did you find a place to stay while on the lake?
 
What about a Bennington gift card for the online store?  (I think they have those??)


Or if there's a nearby lake that you guys want to go to, maybe accommodations at a place on the water there.
 
We have some Bennington logo Tervis Tumblers for the boat and my wife loves them. Unbranded ones are available on Amazon. 
 
A new boat? OK, never mind. 


How about a designer bag (or knock off) that mom can fill with boat "stuff?" Towels, sunscreen, books, magazines, etc.

Carl he told me he's renting a house from a forum member on your side of the lake. But he didn't say who it was..........

My wife and I bought Benny shirts online. She got the white long sleeve Bennington logo T shirt and I got the black/gray dry fit shirt.

Correct...don't know if they want their name out.  I will be meeting up with them this Friday.  Just to meet live and introduce ourselves.  I will check with them at that time and ask.  BigK, Carl and I are going to try and meet up on the lake as well.  Hope to meet anyone that lives on the lake while we are down there.
 
So......you're coming down this Friday? How long are you staying?
 
Arrive Friday the 26th, leaving Sept 3rd.

Hey, no big deal. I understand. I've got an idea but haven't seen them on this forum this season if it's who I think it is. 


Supposed to be in Virginia when you arrive at the lake. If you guys make plans before I get back let me know and we'll meet up wherever you guys are.......
 
So..... what did the birthday gift end up to be?
 
A pair of those water shoes with the toes and a beach umbrella.  She won't get them until we meet for vacation but that's what the kid decided on.
