Still searching for some last minute info about how easily the blackout package scratches. We have a new Boston Terrier puppy and are afraid her toenails are going to be bad for the black railings. We're very particular with our boats so inflicting and damage to it ourselves will be very minimal but things do happen. Does anyone have any info on scratches and being able to touch them up without it looking tacky?

I've got the black out package and I do one of two things for minor imperfections.  I touch up with either a Sharpie or flat black spray paint applied to a Q Tip.  Both work great.

I'm just going to keep a black sharpie handy. I can't imagine a small scratch being that visible after a quick sharpie touch up. Worst case, where you think your puppy "might" be prone to scratching, I'd put a layer of black anti-slip tape down for protection. I'm super picky about my boat, but I also realize there's only so much I can protect it.  I'm more worried about denting a panel. That's an item that's NOT easily repaired........

Thanks for the replies. We are placing our order this weekend and I think we're going to take a chance on the blackout package. It just looks so much nicer with it, sets it apart from all the other toons running around to.
