Hello. Ordered a 21' LSB with twin 32" Elipticals with strakes. My boathouse hoist has 8" belts (10'x24' slip), but could switch to a cradle. Anyone know if belts can damage the logs? Thx! John. Apparently plenty of time regarding delivery date left to make any changes.. UGH!

Did you post this separetly elsewhere too? I recently responded to this same question. Based on a past forum members experience and post (maybe 1-3 years ago…?), yes belts well eventually damage the pontoon logs. Someone was using a belt left and the weight of the boat caused damage As the pontoons were compromised along the belt points. I would absolutely avoid and change over to bunks, or cradles, or what not based on that persons experience. They shared pictures at the time and it didn’t look good. Hope this helps.
