Brand New 2025 188SL fuel gauge inaccurate

The fuel gauge is wildly inaccurate. When the gauge read 1/4, I took it to be filled, and it only took 8 gallons. It is a 23.9 gallon tank, and so I would assume that it should have taken at least 15 gallons. Also, once I had the tank filled, the gauge only read a hair over 3/4 full, even though they topped off to the tank to the point where there was a little spill over. I’ve contacted the dealer.

Thoughts anyone?

It probably needs to be recalibrated . My dealer calibrates so when it shows empty you still have 4-5 gallons left.

Not sure you can do that with an analog gauge. I think its only an option with a digital gauge

Maybe the float ,sending unit?
