I replaced the bunks on my Bennington Bear trailer with new boards and Caliper plastic covers. Now the pontoons do not fit bunks . All the bunks are only touching the pontoons on the upper edge on each side. I’ve only trailered the boat from the water to storage which is 1/2 mile. Hopefully the wood will settle into the support or I can loosen the lag bolts. The carpeted bunks fit fine. Anybody ever seen this before ?

Either your boards are thicker or thinner or they weren’t installed in the exact same position as the old ones. Are your brackets adjustable?

The individual bunks are not adjustable other than moving up or down on the v .I think I can remove the bolts from one bunk at a time and bump the bunk up till I get a good fit and reinstall the bolts. I assumed the bolts went in the middle of the bunk.

Just redo it! The distance from the center of one outer tube to the center of the other outer tube is 77 inches. So the center of the middle tube is going to be 38.5 inches from the center of each outer tube. Just take the bolts out, remeasure, place the bunks and reinstall.....

Attached should be pictures of the fit of my new bunks. The boat is not centered on the bunks perfectly probably because the can’t fall into the V. Only solution I see is to move the bunks up but I will be on the edge of the bunk with the lag bolt. Anybody seen this before ?

I don't think moving the bunk up or down on the bracket would help. Because the angle of the bracket does not meet the curvature of the pontoons. The angle is going to be the same no matter where you install the bunk. Send those pics to the trailers manufacturer and see if they have any ideas.
