Can I Step Here?

For all of you owners with a motor pod instead of a third toon, is it safe to step on the pod's edges? Not sure if I will need to or not, but I saw somebody who owns a different brand put some non skid tape on the sides for when he stands there on his boat. Just checking in case I ever need to put a foot on it. I understand it is built to withstand the motor weight as well as the forces of being underway, but, I am an extra 235 lbs. Thanks.

Yes you can step on it but be careful.

If you are wondering if it's strong enough? Yes. Could it be slippery? Yes. Non-slip tape is a good idea.
