2024 23 LFB with Mercury 250XL DTS and Simrad nsx9. I can't seem to find engine hours anywhere. I found a few links suggesting there should be a green Mercury icon on the left side of screen when looking at radar and other pages. However, I don't seem to have that. I'm probably missing something obvious here. Getting way over my skis here, but could my boat missing the Mercury VesselView link? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

When we bought our boat the Simrad was pretty much set up for us. But if I remember correctly you can go back to the Set up Wizard and find the Instrument bar and you choose what you want displayed and where!

Probably just wasn’t pre-set up with it. Also, your digital Mercury gauges themselves can show hours (along with a lot of other data) as well in the tiny data portion of the gauge. There is a process for adding and deleting what is in there, and again, it probably wasn’t pre-set up with that info. In theory, you should be able to add it to both systems: your actual digital Mercury gauges themselves, as well as your Simrad.

For my Yamaha, with a Simrad, the engine hours and info only show up with the engine running FYI. That green merc icon may only show up with it running.

Mercury has 2 apps that work off your phone, but you must have the correct Bluetooth device connected under your hood. Plus the Simrad unit should have hours on there also. By the way, the Simrad is wired (not blue toothed ) to engine. The fine people at both Mercury and Simrad would help you on the tech support line. My first choice would be call your dealer before anything. Good Luck⚓

Well,
This might not apply but we have a '14 Bennington 25RCL with the Yamaha 350HP 5.3L V-8 F350 engine and we have the two Yamaha gauges. One is the tach and the other is the speedometer. Each of those gauges has multiple modes. When planning some engine maintenance, I had to find the engine hours because of what was due for maintenance and what wasn't. Heck, we've owned that boat now for well over 5 years and even I didn't know where the hour(s) display was. So, I dove into any paperwork and or manuals I had and found out the hours are automatically displayed ON THE TACH screen, in one of the modes. Does any of this help the OP, not a clue but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

my apologies for getting back so slowly. I really appreciate the feedback. I'll give it another go when I'm back on the boat, but I've had a couple others try and figure it out too and no one has had success. If no luck I think I'm going to have have the dealer figure it out at the end of the season.
