Can anyone recommend a cantilever hoist that accommodates elliptical pontoons? My Bennington is 22’.

Thanks!

Not an expert, but I don’t think a cantilever hoist can handle the size and weight of a pontoon boat. I have never seen one used for a toon.

My neighbor uses a Hewitt cantilever lift. Two logs and 70hp motor for 22 foot pontoon. Several others in our bay also use same type of lift. Might be different with larger motors.

I've seen literally hundreds of them. Mostly Hewitt 3600, 4200 & 4800# lifts.

A big advantage of a cantilever is that it will allow a launch in shallower water than a vertical.
Same can be said for a rack vs bunks.

We are on a large shallow inland lake. A LOT of people use cantilever lifts for their pontoons here because of depth. More flexibility with low water levels. That said, I don’t know the answer to the OP’s question regarding a good cantilever lift for the larger Ellipticals.

Thank you! I’ve reached out to Hewitt to explore their offerings.

Happy almost boating season, from chilly Higgins Lake, MI.
Well welcome from your “neighbors” on Houghton Lake.
