What experience have people had with ceramic spray coatings and also what brand have they used? We have a new 24MSB coming in about a month and I want to protect the paint as much as possible before we launch the boat. We (she) chose Shiraz Purple with the Gemini Black for the panel colors. FYI, this will be our 4th and "final" Bennington pontoon per my wife LOL.

My dealer applied a coating (not sure of brand but think it was Vantage) but we had a tough time getting registration numbers to stick after application. If possible, apply registration numbers before application of spray coating.

We had Vantage applied to both our seats and the panels on our last pontoon and I honestly didn't see a difference from them being treated or not and that is why we are skipping it on our new one.

Congratulations on the new 24MSB! I also ordered one w Shiraz purple (accent is Anthracite). While It has not hit the water yet I can tell you that after 3 long weeks in the driveway the best result I have seen as far as beeding of rain/ no water spots left and pollen not ‘sticking’ is the Cerakote product below #1. Follow instructions and apply to all metal surfaces, including the interior of panels and the fencing /rails around the swingback. can also go on rubber/ plastic. I used 3M clear paint protector tape 1” wide 5m on the rub rail insert. Not sure how that will work out- seems to thin.

For ‘Maintenance cleaning’ I recommend a combination of a waterless spray wash and either #2 or 3 below. Note - I tested number two and number three below on different parts of the boat and the Cerakote #1 way out performed #2, #3
Based on past experience I’m guessing the Cerakote will be an annual application (at least on the exterior)
Still a better value than paying a professional unless you don’t have the time or interest in doing the work yourself.

Greatly appreciate all of that information! I just ordered the spray you recommended so its here and ready when the boat arrives.

I had my Benny Ceramic coated 2 years ago - the dealer provides an unlimited refill of a cleaner that includes primarily vinegar plus a few other items including some "?" cermaic coating. It has worked well, though - not sure it works as well as the Hot Sauce. Last year we did not get to use the boat enough to really evaluate.
