Cracks in motor cowling

Preparing to winterize and observed cracks in the motor cowling. Last year there was one, now 3 more. Has anybody seen this issue?  No interior or exterior damage to the cover noticed. Contacted dealer but have not heard back. Requested meeting with engine rep. To be continued...

Yikes! Looks like the cover has a stress point. Should be under warranty!

As we were cleaning out the boat for winter storage as a standard winter ritual we put the fitted motor cover on for storage.  I did notice a couple small spots on our cowl that look similar to the cracks you have shown but they are in the middle (not the edge).......maybe it got hit sometime over the summer and I never noticed it till now.  Just something more to keep an eye on in the spring.
