Hi
Trying to sort out a laundry list of electrical problems on my friends Bennington pontoon and need a good electrical diagram to work off of. Any help would be great.

2017 Bennington 22 GSR

I will also contact Bennington tomorrow but thought I would throw a line in the water here first.

Thanks
Dennis

There boat is probably still under warranty, especially if they got the 3 year add on they could have gotten back in 2017 to take it to a full 10 years. Perhaps it should be taken into the dealer if their electrical system is problematic?

I'm also trying to sort out electrical problems (and dealer problems) on a 2022 Bennington. Earlier this summer it wouldn't start, had it towed in and they said it was loose wires on the starter. They also had to replace the bimini switch since it would only go up. When we picked it up, the fuel gauge never moved off of full. Dropped it off again, dealer replaced the fuel gauge, and on the way home, the entire gauge panel went dead. After we picked it up for that one we were getting water under the console. It turns out the drip hoses were not attached to the weep holes on the console. Just yesterday, we started it up and about a half hour later the entire console went dead again. These have been fixed under warranty, except the dealer is charging diagnostic fees. I really need to find some schematics to see where the connections, fuses, resets, etc. are so I can determine if it needs a quick fix or if it needs another visit to the marina.

I thought (assume?) if a repair was approved as warranty, that the diagnostic fees were wrapped into that warranty repair, not still passed along to the owner. Am I wrong on this?

My personal experience: The two times I’ve had warranty work on my boat, I did not get charged any diagnostic fees. When I had non-warranty approved repairs/work on my boat, I was charged diagnostic fees.

Good point on the charges - I forgot that the starter fix was not under warranty since the starter is mounted on the outboard and the outboard is beyond its 2 year warranty.

You only have a 2 year warranty on your motor ? You may want to double check that.
