Can someone tell me how to remove excess water from the center toon storage area of a 2023 Bowrider? I have LOTS of water not just wet, it was returned to me that way after a yearly service and "detail" from a Bennington dealer. Its on a lift so it had to have been from them hosing it down. Will the bilge pump remove this? Thanks in advance.

My center toon storage area drains and a factory installed bilge pump removes it. They know water is going to get in the storage, there has to be a drain or a bilge pump? Check to make sure no drains are plugged. Have you turned on your bilge pump?

Ok, Thanks. I will verify tomorrow when I get out to the lake. I'm still new to a tri-toon boat and learning a little more every day. I appreciate your reply.

I would expect your bilge pump to take care of it once you try that.

So I don't have a picture below the center toon storage flooring - but under it I recall two or three holes that drain into the rear sections(s?) of the toon and into the compartment where the Gas Tank is stored, where it is then picked up by the bilge pump (which I had rewired direct to the battery so I could always have auto blige on - summer monsoon will dump a HUGE amount of water into the center toon, even though we keep the mooring cover on - it hits the front deck and washes down through the middle of the Benny). I recall those drain holes being about a 1/4" or more above the flooring, so there is always water left. Our center toon is packed, so wiping it up after each use is not practical. However, with typical weather being 110 plus - it tends to evaporate quickly.

Did you get this resolved? I can hear water for what I believe is the front section of the center toon. Not the storage section.. is the center toon sectioned into 3 cavities? is the front one sealed? or does it drain through so i can use the bilge pump? I don't see water in the center toon when i look into it from the floor door.. but there is a floor to the center toon....

Center pontoon has 3 chambered sections. Sections are not connected. They are sealed. that way if one is compromised, the others still provide flotation. The bilge pump ONLY works to drain water from storage area if one has in floor storage. That is not a water tight area, so the bilge pump is part of that option to provide a solution. If you hear water in the center pontoon, you should certainly take it into the dealer to have it examined as a potential warranty repair.

The person you were replying to was getting water in their actual in floor storage area. Their bilge pump should have provided the solution to their problem. They never replied back, which is typically a sign that the provided remedy worked. Hopefully they will pop back in sometime to update the group.
