Hey guys - I didn't want to go with the Bennington option given reports of them breaking easy, so I went with these instead.

Several folks talked about the "EXfender" - which I liked as well, but I went with these which are (a) a little lower profile without the ring in, and (b) I wanted something that already has the fender lines pre-tied with the right length so when we pull up to a dock we just pop them in,

Admittedly I was a little (a lot!) nervous to drill into the rails of my new boat, but I would have had to do the same for the rivets on the Bennington system too.

Special thanks to Jack M who suggested getting them powder coated so they would match my rails. Items needed for install:

(1) I had six of these powder coated slate black:

(2) Used 1/4" stainless steel washers
(3) Bought stainless steel #10 screws (b/c the ones that come with the set above are crap and pulled right into my magnet showing they aren't SS) and had the tops of the screws powder-coated with the clips
(3) Applied Tef-Gel to both the bottom of the washers and the screw threads to prevent galvanic corrosion and seizing
(4) Used painters tape and an automatic center punch to prevent the drill from sliding on the rail
(5) Used a #21 wire gauge drill bit
