For those of you who use a Spinner Steering Wheel Knob...

(a) What position on the wheel did you decide to mount it?

And (b) Anyone using one paired with electro-hydraulic steering (like on the Mercury Verados)?

I mounted mine at the 9:00 - 10:00 position. Seemed like a natural position for me and I wanted to use my left hand while right hand is free for throttle.

I use to have mine mounted at about 10 o’clock for driving and tubing. I have since moved it to 8 o’clock for lazy cruising. Both worked well for one hand on the knob, and one on the throttle for tubing. Just depends which is nicest for you, but overall those both worked great for me. Since adding it back around 2019 to our boat, I think I drive with nearly 100% of the time.

Also, we have a 200HP Mercury Verado Pro with power assist steering.
