All, I recently purchased a 2020 Bowrider 24R it only had 65 hours on the Yamaha 300 so it was perfect for us. Only issue was my wife wants dual bimini's and I looked at the forums here and found some DIY solutions however, I noticed that Bennington started making the dual power fronts an option in 2022 I believe and I found this listing that actually had one https://www.gspsmarine.com/New-Inventory-2023-Bennington-Boat-23-LTFB-GSPS-Marine-13904272 on a 2023. I live in Syracuse, IN (Lake Wawasee) and the Bennington main factory is about an hour away in Elkhart. Wondering if anyone has retrofitted the actual sure shade unit ..... looks like a perfect option for us and I have one open accessory switch on the panel.

Hard to tell where you are going with your original post. I am quite certain that a trip to the factory will not get you there. Your dealer can supply you with parts that they get from Bennington but that starts with your VIN number. That can be a problem if a part or assembly that you want did not exist on your boat. I added power to my existing top. It required a double pole momentary switch that is different than your unused accessory switch. A custom application can bring challenges. How the two tops meet in the middle might be one. I had to machine the full travel stops for my application. Keep us informed on where you are going with this. It sounds interesting.

In 2021 my dealer was able to supply me with service parts (two new tubes) that did not originally come with my boat. It was not easy on their part because their order had to be tied to a VIN number. As you start to grapple with the unknowns with this project you might be inclined to simply ask the dealer to retrofit the top. A smart dealer will probably decline because it is difficult to meet customer expectations of a custom project. Do it yourself and you will find out why. Keep us informed.

We have a '22 LX24 that we would also like to install the second bimini top. First can this be done and can i get one shipped from the factory?
Thanks,

Bennington does not sell directly to the public. You would have to go to your dealers service department to order .

Or go directly to the company that makes them and sells them to any of the boat manufacturers:
The downside is that it doesn't look like you can get the upswept arms to match the factory Bennington ones. They're probably exclusive to Bennington and I doubt they'd sell those to you, but it couldn't hurt to call and ask, Truth be told, I'd prefer the straight arms anyway. The upswept ones seem to raise the front edge of the bimini higher than I'd prefer. The curved legs also make it difficult to use the sport arms, which I would really like to add to mine.
