Hi,     Our family loves to Bennington tritoons.

We are looking for a 25ft to 28ft with a Yamaha 300.

Trying to get some idea of the fuel burn gph

As we hope to spend a lot of time boating in Florida.

Thanks

I can report this - I got my new R version 25' with the Yamaha 300 on the back.  It has a 16 degree pitch propeller.  First time with an outboard and amazingly quiet.  It's pushing my toon to about 43mph max. - that is with three total people on board and no real weight to speak of - no coolers on board.   Just a cruise to see what I could hit.  I was hoping to be closer to 50 but it's still a super smooth ride at 43 and will get me off the water if I really need to.  I've gone through a half tank in two strong days of tooling around.  I know I looked at the mileage but can't remember where I"m at now - I will take a look tomorrow or Friday and report back.

2550 GPD, 3500rpm, 20mph, 6.8 gph, 300hp Yamaha 14.75x17 Reliance prop, wife and I and 2.5 dogs, 1/2 tank of fuel, all regular gear on board
