2016 SX has had fuel fill problem since new. Had to dealer and just give me a different funnel. Have tried many different approaches to resolve problem.
I have worked on it recently and found the vent line from fill port to tank is blocked. Dealer says that not possible! They have had it 2 times to fix now it is out of warranty
So they will charge by the hour to repair.
Can someone till how much difficulty to get to underside of floor or how the pontoon is attached under the fuel fill port?

Welcome. Do you have the 10 warranty on a 2016 ? Or that started in 2017 ?

10 year warranty started in 2017. My boat is a 2017 model year but it was delivered in Sep 2016 and it didn't even come with the 10 year warranty.

7 year warranty. the dealer I bought it from sold to a bigger dealership. Upgrading possible if I can get this issue fixed. It will not be from them it most likley will not be a Bennington. Service department is not very friendly.

That's too bad. Good Luck!

I can tell you what might be helpful based on what little information you have have supplied. Fuel fill problems are probably the most common unresolved problem that shows up on side fill boats. The EPA in order to reduce emissions has required systems to prevent overfilling and in addition, filter cans on the tank vent. Failure of the overfill system can create splash back that might plug the filter can. The overfill system is fragile and sensitive to manufacturing variation. If the line that runs to the tank from the filler is restricted the gas filler nozzle will click off prematurely. Common restrictions might be a kink or fuel trapped in a low spot. You do not have remove the whole pontoon tube to get at the line. You will have to remove the under-deck sheet that protects the line. You may have to remove the seat (that is easier than you would think). Hopefully this information will help others.

Here is the data I have compiled on the topic. My issue happen when it get's hot out - over 100. I can flip the fill nozzle, that has actually solved the issue for me, when combined with a slightly slower filled rate. It does require that I hold the nozzle and trigger.
