Try a super siphon from Amazon . I have direct fill now but previously had side fill . Going back to 2013, Ive never had a filling issue.

ScottThanks DVW, that sounds like the same problem I'm having, even with the 5 gallon gas can, I can only trickle the gas in. I'm attaching some photos, looks like if there was a "flapper" in the fuel fill, it's been removed. All visible lines look fine to me. I do have a new longer/flexible nozzle on the way for my gas can, thinking that if I can slide it into the fill further it might help? We'll see. Otherwise I can only think there's a clogged or crimped vent hose or canister? I'm considering removing the plate that covers the gas tank but would like to know if the tank is supported or if the plate is what holds the tank? Thanks in advance for any help offered.
