Fuel gage

The fuel gage goes from empty to full and then sometimes it shows 1/4 tank. The boat is new. What might be the problem?

Welcome aboard Greggeneva, it is probably a loose connection either at the gauge or the fuel tank. Contact your dealer to get it fixed, it's under warranty.

Had very similar problem on current Bennington when delivered.  Turned out the wire from sending unit to gauge had to be replaced under warranty of course.

Mine guage is about 1/8 'lower' than it should be.  I can fill it to where not a single drop more will fit and the gauge reads between 3/4 and F.  The trouble is I don't know if E means 1/8 or really E.
