Too early to talk...........WINTERIZATION!!!!!

Heck, they talk winterization in May in Manitoba ...... Eh Derrick ....... :)

The fisherman here in ND are hard core, I have seen them out on the water at 10*f at the tail race " the area where the water comes out of the hydro electric turbine at the face of the Garrison Dam" on the Missouri river, actually some state record fish have been taken there from boats in the dead of winter. Once most hunting seasons end in December out the boats come again for some of the thick skinned folks.A few years ago I saw a pontoon Ice breaker who was trying to get his toon out of the marina a few days late and there was about a 2-3 inch layer of ice already, he has it just above idle and was just letting the front slide up on the ice sheet and it would break through, he did this for about 200 yards from his slip to the ramp, took him over an hour but he made it.

Uggghhh .... Called dealer today and scheduled pull out after oct 14th. Hoping to get 5 good weekends in yet ..... :-(

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We do the ice breaking deal with our duck boat. Glide up on ice, move all weight the the front, weight crushes ice and repeat.

my father did that a lot as heir pontoon Pl boat was a tender for the layout boats inbthe big open waters of Michigan
