The Mercs and Evinrudes on my lake don't differ that much in fuel consumption.
 
That's reassuring... However, I guess I wasn't really too worried about gas consumption when I placed the order. lol
 
Never really worried about fuel consumption. If it needs it fill it up!
 
Congrats on the new boat. My suggestion is to watch your consumption and take any questions to the dealer after the next tank of gas. Remember you are still breaking in a new engine and going stainless on the prop will not have a big impact on gas being used. After 30+ years of boating, being observant has always been the most helpful.  Enjoy ⚓️
